Split cassia

Split cassia refers to cassia bark that has been cut or split into smaller pieces rather than being used in whole sticks. Derived from the Cinnamomum cassia tree, split cassia is used to impart a rich, warm, and slightly spicy flavor to dishes. Its robust aroma and taste are similar to those of whole cassia sticks but in a more convenient form for cooking. Often used in spice blends, curries, and stews, split cassia offers the same antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits as whole cassia. It dissolves more readily into dishes, allowing for quicker infusion of its distinctive flavor.
